13 Jun 2022 More Than 5,000 Students Have Experienced the Most Modern Medical Education in Europe at Masaryk University The Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University has produced its first results. More than 5,000 students have already passed through the most modern facility of its kind in Europe in just four years since the foundation stone was laid and after four semesters of teaching medical and healthcare programmes.
25 May 2022 Two research groups at the Faculty of Medicine will be bolstered by new postdocs Almost 70 applicants from all over the world applied for two postdoctoral positions offered at the Faculty of Medicine. The best applicants selected by the faculty committee will go to the research groups of Dr. Jan Krivanek and Dr. Pavel Krejci.
5 May 2022 Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Workshop Also for Final Year General Medicine Students Practically and theoretically guided workshop called "Pelvic reconstructive surgery - anatomical, clinical and surgical workshop" was held on 28th April 2022 at the FM MU for both students and doctors in specialisation training in gynaecology and obstetrics.

20 Apr 2022 The Korean Ambassador Tae Jin Kim Visited Our Faculty Part of the visit of the Ambassador of South Korea to the premises of FM MU was a meeting with faculty management representatives and Korean students. That was followed by a tour of the University Campus Bohunice, finishing at the FM MU's Simulation Centre (SIMU).
30 Mar 2022 Four Professors from FM MU Received Their Appointment Decrees On 29th March, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Petr Gazdík presented appointment decrees to a total of 80 new professors. Four of them work at the Faculty of Medicine MU.
21 Mar 2022 Seven Doctoral Students from FM MU Received the Brno PhD Talent Award The 11th year of the Brno Ph.D. Talent programme was interesting with the high participation of our students. Fourteen students from Masaryk University were awarded, seven of them from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University.
