Foundation Programme
The Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University offers an in-person preparatory programme for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry.
Join us for the excellent preparatory course that will help you take that first step towards becoming a doctor or a dentist. This well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Czech language is designed for international students who wish to master their secondary school skills and broaden their knowledge.

You get the in-person experience directly on campus at the Faculty of Medicine, taught by our expert lecturers, who will also teach you later on in your studies and you will become part of the student community in Brno. But the best advantage? Based on your results throughout the course, you can gain admission without any entrance exams!
The programme details
- the programme runs from 14th October 2024 to mid-March 2025
- it takes 20 weeks to complete; each week (Mon-Fri) comprises of 25 teaching hours
- tuition fee is 200,000 CZK
- the course is held at the University Campus of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University
- the lectures and seminars are delivered by experienced academic staff from the Faculty of Medicine through modern teaching methods
- the Biology course contains a field trip to Mendelianum, a museum built on the very same place where J.G. Mendel laid foundation of genetics with his experiments
- the courses will be available to purchase online from April 1st to July 31st 2024
- the maximum capacity of the programme is 40 students
The application requirements
- submitting E-application
- uploading a CV (a part of e-application)
- uploading scanned document/s certifying completing secondary school education (secondary school diploma / A-levels results / IB diploma, etc. in English language)
- if all documents meet the requirements, the e-application is confirmed and you will receive an informative email how to pay the tuition fee
- after the payment you will be provided with Acceptance documents
