We are proud HR award holders

Faculty of Medicine has begun following the long-term plan in 2019 preparatory work for obtaining the prestigious European HR Excellence in Research Award certificate. As a result, on 23 April 2021 Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, has been recognized by the European Commission with the HR Excellence Award. Faculty has, therefore officially advanced to the implementation phase of the overall process, which means that individual steps of the Action plan will be carried out. In April 2023, the faculty submitted a self-assessment (Internal Review) of the implementation of the HR strategy after the first two years and a revised Action Plan for the period 2023-2026, which was accepted by the European Commission without any comments and awarded the status of "HRS4R Embedded".

This certificate is awarded by the European Commission to research institutions that guarantee current and potential employees a professional, open and ethical work environment by implementing the HRS4R strategy (The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers). The institution shall regularly demonstrate that it fulfills the conditions for good human resources management in accordance with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

The aim is to implement a human resources strategy for researchers, in line with the European Commission Recommendation 2005/251 / EC on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
