Masaryk University has set up a crisis communication and management system and is now working on strengthening security, which is being addressed by the university's management and the Rector's College, whose members are the deans, i.e. the highest representatives of individual faculties.

The Masaryk University initiative in the form of the internal GAMU Career Restart grant, helps scientists to restart their scientific careers after a break in their research work. The Masaryk University Grant Agency grant supports the reintegration of scientists into research teams.

The mental health app developed by the LF MU spin-off company MilkyWay be well in cooperation with the Institute of Medical Psychology and Psychosomatics received an honorable mention in this year's Czech DIGI@MED Award.

This year, 1,403 higher education institutions from 95 countries were ranked in the second edition of the international QS Sustainability Rankings, which assesses the contribution of universities to addressing the challenges of sustainable development. Masaryk University is the best in the Czech Republic.
