The first health prevention day for employees and students of FM MU offered consultations from vision to nutrition.
CZECRIN is part of the 3-year European project VACCELERATE, which aims to create a network of clinical and research facilities focused on the development and testing of vaccines against infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
In the spring of 2021 a consorcium was formed for the 3-year EU project named VACCELERATE, in which Masaryk University, through its research infrastructure CZECRIN, is involved at the level of the project partner. It is a research project with the aim of conducting vaccination studies of phase II and III against COVID-19, or other infectious diseases. The aim is to create a platform for the design, implementation and evaluation of data for future vaccination studies. The project is coordinated by the University Hospital in Cologne. Representatives for the Czech Republic are prof. MUDr. Metr Husa, CSc. (Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, University Hospital Brno and Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University) and doc. MUDr. Regina Demlová, Ph.D. (Head of the Institute of Pharmacology of Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University and Principal Investigator of the CZECRIN project).

On 5 March, a lecture on healthy nutrition and plant-based diet was organized by IFMSA CZ Brno in cooperation with experts from PAN Czech Republic. Participants learned about the importance of good nutrition, practical tips for creating a healthy diet and had the opportunity to taste plant-based dishes.
