Prophylaxis of conventional amphterin B-induced renal toxicity in oncological patients by vigorous hydration of patients, and ion supplementation corresponding the amounts lost by the kidneys during amphotericin B therapy. Part of the project is experiment in laboratory rats, where we plan to evaluate at full lenght the amphotericin B-induced renal toxicity and efficary of prophylactic nephroprotective measures.
