The main objective of the project is to modify, based on the current needs of the target group—teachers in vocational secondary education in the South Moravian Region—and subsequently scientifically validate the effectiveness of the Finnish educational program Towards Successful Seniority in optimizing work ability and preventing burnout among secondary school teachers.

Specific objectives of the project:

1) To refine the current needs of secondary school teachers in the South Moravian Region regarding work ability optimization and burnout prevention, as identified in previous research;
2) Based on the theoretical and empirical foundations of the project and needs analysis, to modify the Finnish educational program Towards Successful Seniority to enhance work ability and prevent burnout among secondary school teachers, aiming to prevent premature departure from the profession and support teaching performance until retirement age. The educational program will be aligned with the current needs of secondary school teachers, with a multidisciplinary approach (andragogy, psychology, occupational medicine, applied kinesiology) applied in the needs analysis and program modification;
3) To scientifically validate the effectiveness of the modified multidimensional educational program in terms of optimizing work ability and preventing burnout;
4) To create an online informational portal/resource hub to support work ability and prevent burnout among secondary school teachers;
5) To organize a professional conference focusing on strategies for optimizing work ability among secondary school teachers and related topics.
