Department of Social Education, PdfMU has been working on a developmental project of a social-pedagogical centre in Angola, Bié province, for fours years. The project is aimed on educating and activating the locals, especially children and young people. During the four years, we managed to build a social-pedagogical centre, train the local pedagogues in educating, and establish a mechanism assisting in activating both children and adults from socially disadvantaged environment in the complicated conditions of an African country. It is necessary to thoroughly analyse the project results using scientific research methods, and utilise the uncovered principles to improve the preparation of the local pedagogues for educating both children and adults.
Results
The project is successfully implemented in full. In the area of a group of doctoral students and graduate program research data collected, their analysis has brought interesting results that can be applied in practice. Data collection took place in three stages, alternating with Angola in three groups of researchers, a total of 5 students and 1 academic staff. Research data were processed on a provisional basis in the research study, which is the basis for scientific publication. This publication is released in the editorial plan MU in 2012.
