17 May 2021 The first and second course on Anaesthesia and critical conditions in children The first-ever courses focused on managing critical conditions in children in the operating rooms, emergency rooms as well as in pre-hospital care environment took place in the Simulation Centre of the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University on 11 and 12 May 2021.
3 May 2021 11. First-aid simulation course 2 months of training, 10 student lecturers, 20 extras and 30 participants. That is the result of the 11th First-aid simulation course traditionally held every semester within the courses of cooperation across years of study, which took place on 25th April 2021.

The participants will get the opportunity to try out in a safe environment the management of critical conditions in perioperative period.
15 Apr 2021 Course on Anaesthesia and critical conditions in children The Simulation Centre of Masaryk University is preparing two identical one-day simulation courses on Anaesthesia and Critical Conditions in Children on 11th and 12th May 2021. The participants will get the opportunity to try out in a safe environment the management of critical conditions in children in pre-hospital care, E.R. and operating room during anaesthesia.
17 Mar 2021 The historically first accredited course on Simulation of Critical Conditions in the Czech Republic took place at SIMU LF MU The long-awaited accredited course on Simulation of Critical Conditions was waiting for a workplace which would accept the challenge and decide to organize this mandatory course within the specialized educations of physicians involved in the latest educational program in the field of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. Our faculty was the first to take on the challenge. A two-day course full of high-fidelity simulations was prepared by a team of lecturers from KDAR FN Brno and LF MU and KARIM FN Brno and LF MU.

Students and future lecturers who attended the second pilot of the new Propaedeutics at SIMU tried new skills, such as sewing up the wound, performing an ECG, starting a peripheral vein catheter or understanding the run of an operating theatre, and teaching thereof.
