On 9–10 May 2022, the first ever course focused on the use of box and laparoscopic simulators was held at the FM MU Simulation Centre. The two-day event called Basics of Laparoscopy on Box and Virtual Simulators I was designed for pre-certification physicians focusing on minimally invasive surgery.

An experienced team of lecturers from KARIM and KDAR of the Brno University Hospital / FM MU and the Institute of Simulation Medicine FM MU prepared a one-day course called Ultrasound in Critical Conditions, which is full of unusual simulations.

On 2^nd May 2022, the first ever course focused on the use of ultrasound was held at the FM MU Simulation Centre. The one-day course, entitled Basic School of Ultrasound in Children, was designed for physicians working with paediatric patients in critical condition.

Up to two months of preparation, 10 student lecturers, 16 actors and 30 participant places. This is the balance sheet of the 13^th First Aid Simulation Course, an event traditionally held every semester in the framework of inter-year cooperation courses, which took place on 30^th April 2022.

On 23 April 2022, the portal AKUTNE.CZ organised the 11^th traditional Emergency Medicine Course at the FM MU Simulation Centre. This year, the capacity was again filled within a few dozen minutes. Unusual was the condensed one-day format, accompanied by pre-learning, which students studied in advance, including a short test.

On 1 April 2022, the fifth Critical Conditions in Children course took place at the FM MU Simulation Centre, where participants could experience critical situations from the emergency room and operating theatres in a safe environment.

We started it on 8 March 2021 with the long-awaited and first ever accredited two-day course on Critical Condition Simulation, which we have already repeated three times. So, in total, 59 participants completed the course with us in the first year.
