The aim of our work is dissection of the sentinel lymph node during the operation for the non-small cell lung cancer. After the peritumoral application of the 5 ml of the lipofilic dye (sulphanum caeruleum) the standard lung resection will be made. After the lung resection, the systematic dissection of the homolateral lymph nodes of the mediastinum will follow. All sampled nodes will be carefuly analyzed by histological examination. Sentinel node contains the dye (patent blue). If the metastasis in the sentinel node will be found, we start the investigation of the other nodes for the systemic metastatic disease.
