The project will produce the first ever Online V4 Medical Simulation Centre Database and a scientific paper on best practices based on study visits, including workshops and multiplier events, at Partner institutions. The project’s aims are to promote medical simulation training, cooperation in V4 region, and raise awareness of the region's potential as a valuable international partner in a growing global medical simulation industry. While COVID-19 paralyzed many areas of our life, it also instigated research development and innovation, especially in healthcare. It became apparent that medical simulation centres (MSC) are not only an environment for state-of-the-art medical technology, but also for developing safe conditions for medical practice. Creating a platform for sharing and exchanging experiences and practices in medical simulation education will provide MSC in the V4 region with an opportunity to test current practices and develop high quality standards of medical simulation teaching.
The project is realized by Lazarski University in partnership with University of Szeged, Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice, and Masaryk University.
