Chromagen lenses are special colour filters which can be used as spectacle lens or contact lens. They are able to change colour sense. Chromagen lenses can be used for patients with inborn colour defect or also can be used for treating of dyslexia. The main objective of our study is to test chromagen colour filters in group of adults with defected colour vision.

Results

Quantitative method of visual colour disorder qualification according Vingryse and King-Smith on FM100 Hue test is valid method. Thanks to this method we can define exactly the type of color vision disorder and its importance. After trying of different colour filters we found positive influence of yellow and blue filter. Blue filter used on two patients decreased total error score.
