Statement of Dean Martin Repko on the organisation of teaching at FM MU

Dear colleagues, dear students,

Following the current complete cancellation of classes at Masaryk University in the first week of the autumn semester, we are intensively dealing with how to manage the situation at FM MU.

At FM MU we will not interfere with the current schedule of the academic year.

• For teaching where it is organizationally possible (theoretical teaching), teaching will be provided in the form of self-study support, study materials, and subsequent support during contact teaching.
• For seminars and tutorials, solutions will need to be found in the context of rescheduling teaching, if the number of teaching weeks allows.
• In the case of practical teaching, this will have to be done on an individual basis and the decision is up to the programme supervisor and the course supervisor (internship, clinical placement, etc.).

Further information will be provided by the end of this week via the programme guarantor in collaboration with the course guarantors (General Medicine and Dentistry) and the study programme coordinators (Healthcare study programmes).
