Vice-Rector's Award for six recent PhD graduates from the Faculty of Medicine
At the beginning of November, six graduates of the Faculty of Medicine received the Masaryk University Vice-Rector's Award for Excellence in Doctoral Studies.
On 19 May 2020, contact teaching for general medicine students studying in English at the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University was partially resumed in compliance with hygiene measures and with the use of protective equipment.
The subject which has resumed is nursing, in which practical skills are acquired and which therefore could not be fully implemented in online form. Students can therefore prepare for professional internships and clinical practice. Students have already mastered the theoretical foundations of online teaching and are now practising skills that will help them with the daily management of patient care. The pictures show students in the second year of the General Medicine study program who were in the Czech Republic during the pandemic.
Dear students, we are very happy that you are back in the classroom, and we will do our best to ensure that you are well prepared to perform activities in clinical practice and be able to improve your knowledge and skills for use in patient care.
