Why should medical students attend MIRCIM 2025? MIRCIM is a perfect opportunity for students to enhance their medical education, learn from world-renowned experts, and connect with peers and mentors from over 70 countries. This hybrid-format conference, held on-site in Kraków and online, features 11 sessions with over 60 lectures by leading researchers, clinicians, and educators. It focuses on essential updates in internal medicine and medical education, with an opening lecture by Professor Gordon Guyatt from McMaster University, the author of the term “evidence-based medicine” (EBM), reflecting on the evolution of EBM over the past 35 years. Additionally, the Young Talents in Internal Medicine World Contest 2025 will showcase the best clinical case reports by young internists from around the globe.
MIRCIM is organized by the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM), Poland, and McMaster University, Canada, in collaboration with the International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM), European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM), and Jagiellonian University Medical College, and in partnership with over 40 national societies of internal medicine from around the world.
This year’s conference promises an exceptional experience for medical students, offering exclusive discounts to make MIRCIM more financially accessible. You can pay as little as half the standard fee and still enjoy all the perks of the conference. If you register by March 31, 2025, and use the Early Bird offer, you can save even more: the on-site student fee is €150 (instead of €200), and the online student fee is €95 (instead of €125). Group discounts make participation even more affordable—register as a group of 3-4 students to pay €120 per person (saving €80 each) or as a group of 5 or more students to pay €100 per person (saving €100 each). Lunch costs €10 extra per day, and group discounts apply to 3-day in-person participation only. To register a group, email registration@piebm.org.
MIRCIM is more than just a conference; it’s a chance to expand your knowledge, network with global experts, and explore pathways to your future career in medicine. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a landmark event in internal medicine. For the full program and registration details, visit www.mircim.one.

The Representative Ball of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University and the Medical Students' Association brought unforgettable experiences to Brno's Bobycentre. An evening full of dance, music, and awards for outstanding educators once again did not disappoint.
