An international workshop focused on preparing funding applications for the HE programs for projects with international clinical evaluations took place at Masaryk University.

On January 25, 2024, a significant international event was held at the Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. The workshop titled "Everything you need to know about submitting a European Multinational Clinical Study Proposal" attracted the attention of experts from all over Europe. The event was jointly organized by the infrastructures CZECRIN and SLOVACRIN.

This workshop was aimed at providing detailed information about the process of preparing applications for European grants to conduct international clinical studies. Representatives of member and observer countries of ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of regulatory requirements, ethical aspects, project budget preparation, and the importance of adhering to good clinical practice.

Among the speakers were Tomáš Chládek from the grant office of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, Marcela Hortová Kohoutková and Jan Frič from ICRC, who shared their experiences with the preparations of their BEATsep project, which received funding from the European horizon program, and Amélie Michon from France, who presented the international projects Fairpark and Leopard. These experienced professionals shared their valuable knowledge and practical advice, contributing to the success of the training.

"With great anticipation, we welcomed participants from various corners of Europe and were thrilled to share our experiences and expertise," said the training organizer Kateřina Nebeská. "CZECRIN is committed to supporting the development of international clinical research in Europe, and we believe this training contributed to achieving this goal."

The event was rated as successful and provided participants with invaluable information and skills in the field of international clinical research in Europe.
