Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
The Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to get ready for the entrance exam for the General Medicine and Dentistry programme in the English language. Biology, Chemistry and Physics can be purchased as separate courses. Each course costs 100 Euro.

MU students from Taiwan and Ecuador became best friends
Each of them comes from a different continent and culture, but ever since Yu-Jou Sheu from Taiwan and Alisson Curimilma from Ecuador met at Masaryk University, they have become inseparable friends. Martin Marek has received an EXPRO grant from the Czech Science Foundation (GACR) to study the transfer of bioluminescent energy in marine organisms.

Students can now go on placements outside Europe with Erasmus
For more than 15 years, MUNI students have been able to go on placements in Europe through Erasmus+. Almost 3000 students have already taken advantage of this opportunity. From this year, the university has become part of a European Union exchange programme with a new feature - financed placements outside Europe.

MU Academic Senate approves change to wage rates
The Academic Senate of MU, at its 284th session, approved the increase in wage rates by a higher amount than previously by approving an amendment to the Internal Wage Regulations of Masaryk University. Forty-six of the 47 present senators voted in favour.
