The Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University was founded on January 28, 1919. This year, through our events, we aim to emphasize the significance of cooperation between the university and the public for the benefit of society as a whole. Blood donation for our 105th anniversary

Donate approximately 450 ml of blood or opt for special types of donations: you can contribute blood plasma, platelets, or red blood cells. Join our campaign and make a difference by donating your blood.

Join us in expressing gratitude to the body donors who continue to contribute posthumously to the education of health professionals. For instance, you can contribute CZK 105 towards the construction of a memorial, which will be built at the Central Cemetery in Brno.

Art Competition da MEDici

Do you paint, draw? Are you a student, a graduate, an employee or even an applicant? Take part in the art competition that will result in a calendar. And it's a two-year calendar, for 105 weeks in 2025 and 2026.

105 years of the Medics Association FM MU

The Medical Students' Association was founded in November 1919 and has been bringing medical students together ever since, giving them advice on their studies and opportunities for relaxation, organizing leisure activities, and charity events.

The best students awarded the Dean's Prize

The Dean's Prize for the academic year 2023/2024 was awarded on Monday 25 March 2024 from the hands of Dean Martin Repko, Vice-Dean Eva Brichtová and Vice-Dean Lubomír Křivan to a total of 42 students in both Czech and English studies.

The Werner von Siemens Prize was awarded to Kateřina Snopková with David Šmajs and PhD student Veronika Kamenská

For the 26th time, the Werner von Siemens Prizes were awarded to the best students, young scientists and teachers. On Wednesday 13 March, the award for the best dissertation was presented to RNDr. Kateřina Snopková, Ph.D. and prof. MUDr. David Šmajs, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. Special award - Award for overcoming obstacles during studies was given to our PhD student Ing. Veronika Kamenská.
