Teaching in the simulation centre will now be part of the teaching block of the Infectious Diseases course from autumn 2024 for students of the 4th year of the Faculty of Medicine, General Medicine programme. Students participated in PBL sessions thematically focused on differential diagnosis of childhood exanthems and vaccination. Then, after an illustrative case study of a patient with neuroinfection, they moved to the simulators to experience a lumbar puncture including assessment. The simulations included reinforcement of important skills in pediatric propedeutics (listening findings, venepuncture and vaccine administration).
