The first ever Bilingual European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Course took place at the end of 2024 at SIMU
On 14-15.11.2024, the last and first ever bilingual Czech-English course European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Course (EPALS) took place at the Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University with the participation of foreign candidates from Belgium and Croatia.
Faculty of 12 purely Czech lecturers under the baton of doc. MUDr. Martina Kosinova, PhD., FESAIC and MUDr. Markéta Nowaková trained 25 new EPALS providers within 2 days and thus expanded the ranks of European health professionals trained in early recognition and provision of critically ill/injured child. Many thanks to all trainers and participants for their dedication and the great atmosphere. We hope that this course was the beginning of a new tradition of conducting bilingual (or pure English) EPALS courses in the Czech Republic and we look forward to seeing you again in the new year 2025.
