Description Local therapy of burned areas can be diferentiated as conservative and surgical methods. Conservative methods are used especially in the case of superficial burns where there is possible spontaneous reepitelisation of the defects. The nature of the surgical treatment of deep burns lies in removal of the necrotic skin and closure of the wound by dermoepidermal graft.
