| Description | Innovation performance of economics is one of the most observed characteristic on the present. Several various methods are used for the evaluation of the innovation performance, for example the Summary Innovation Index (SII), using which the individual countries are assessed through 25 indicators. They are split to groups, primary on innovation inputs and outputs. This paper presents the first part of research that is aimed to finding out which of the indicators used for evaluation of innovation outputs in SII are available on regional level so that they can be used for evaluation of innovation performance in NUTS 3 regions in the Czech Republic. In that way the methodological framework for future definition of regional innovation index is defined. In the study there are included partial syntheses for both groups of indicators of innovation outputs (Applications and Intellectual property) and also total synthesis of innovation outputs evaluation. |
