Description The study contents two parts:the first one presents how to include health nutritional education into Educational Framework Programme for promary education. The second part includes fulfilment of requirements defined by the public notice C107/2005SB concerned with school catering. The autor seeks to determine whether school canteens provide the boarders with sufficient supply of nutrients and also discusses the possible ways in which school canteens can influence the nutritional habit of schoolchildren. The aim is to educate pupils in a complex way - to link practical and theoretical ways of exerting positive influence on pupils as far as nutrition is concerned. The quality of food provided by school canteens was monitored, evaluated, and suggestions for linking theoretical knowledge provided by health education with catering offered by school canteens have been made.
