Description The pilot cohort study realised in the period 200 – 2002 with sample of almost 300 children (half of them included in intervention, half was a control group) from 10 elementary schools, 7th and 9th classes. The whole project was divided into three parts. The first part followed the general information about drugs, risks and dependence, implemented the peer components. The second part was engaged in advertisement, assertivity, and ways of refuse. The third part was aimed on the specific prevention and habit forming substances. The pilot sample was realised by anonymous questionnaire embodied significant differences in the first two years of the project among attitudes and knowledge of respondents influenced by program and children of the control file. The final project year presented equation and elimination of these differences. We can summarize that program presents a prevention tool which can delay or eliminate the intensity of the negative socially pathological influences (abuses of drugs) of the population groups. In many cases is not possible to completely stop the negative trends (control groups and groups with intervention), but negative trends can be delayed and slow in case of the aimed early preventive intervention.
