| Description | The poster presents a summary of previous experience with the administration of a combination of clozapine and LAI APs in patients hospitalized at the Psychiatric Clinic of the FN Brno in 2016–2020. A total of 15 patients who met the entry criteria for this comparison were included in the retrospective analysis. The poster mainly evaluates the length of the previous therapy, the representation of individual depot antipsychotics within the augmentation approach, the achievement of remission or relapse of the disease within the augmentation, and the recorded side effects. The results suggest that patients nonadherent and resistant to clozapine therapy could benefit from this treatment, although the amount of clinical data is currently low. Augmentation of clozapine LAI APs should be individualized, based on the sufficient professional experience of the attending physician. |
