Description The aim of the research: What are the motives lead the recipient to therapy with high doses of vitamin C? Qualitative research, semi-structured interview in the period from 28. 2. to 20. 9. 2018. The prospective study focused on mapping the motivation of therapy research informants before starting high doses of vitamin C (18 informants). The second part of the research was a retrospective study aimed at evaluating the effect of therapy (5 informants who received an initial interview and subsequently at least four intravenous applications of vitamin C). It was found out that the motives of informants are primarily focused on their health condition. The treatment is expensive. Prior to starting an IVC treatment cycle, most informants declare that investing in their own health is purposefully spent, believing in improving or stabilizing their health. In three informants the treatment met expectations. One informant cannot assess the effect of therapy. There was no improvement for one informant.
