| Description | In today's world, there are various events that can cause system instability, damage to a large part of the infrastructure, resulting in large loss of life. At a time of peace it means e.g. mass road accidents, floods, epidemics, mining accidents, industrial accidents or nuclear power stations, terrorist attacks, avalanche, hurricane or earthquake. In a state of war, it is the possibility of using weapons of mass destruction, such as nuclear, chemical or biological weapons. If there is no urgent solution to burial in a relatively short time after the occurrence of an emergency, this may result in further losses, e.g. epidemiological perspective. In emergencies, there may be loss of life from hundreds to tens and hundreds of thousands in a relatively short period of time. If, because of large losses, they could not be buried, it is better to evacuate the survivors from the contaminated area. Accelerated burial causes less psychological burdens on people. A special event is involved if the number of victims exceeds ten. |
