Description During excavations of well known Roman military camp near village of Pasohlávky were found pits which relates to period or second world war. Surveyed area on left bank of river Dyje represents one of lasts places where German Wehrmacht built field fortification. Intensive combat actions took place here from 23rd April to 7th May 1945. It was excavated 86 pits during field works. With help of historical sources, it is possible to identify them as several types of shelters for infantry. Also spatial analysis in GIS were performed because of documentation of extent of fortification and correlation of shelters.
