Description The paper was presented at the conference Pedagogical practice: current knowledge and perspectives, the round table "The Present and Future of mentoring in Czech schools." Contains the results of a quantitative analysis of questionnaire data obtained from participants during pojektu ICT is fun CZ.1.07 / March 1, 00 / 51.0015 Education for Competitiveness. Presented are data concerning the influence of mentors in the mentoring support for teachers in primary schools. The questionnaire was completed by 55 participants from a total of 71 mentors involved in the project. The results present a way to work mentors, topics on which teachers cooperation and also the educational needs of mentors in relation to the subjectively perceived quality of their own work mentoring. Results are important to set targets for continuing professional development mentors in education, also in optimizing the setting of conditions for the development of internal and external mentoring in schools.
