Description | The atmospheric pressure radio-frequency discharge in helium and neon was studied in a plane-to-plane gap by an ICCD camera. In both gases the discharges burned in homogeneous-mode. The full color time resolved pictures showed that the atomic excitations are similar in both gases, but the molecular emissions are different. A time shift was recorded between emissions of the atomic and molecular bands. |
