| Description | The issue of heart failure, mainly of acute decompensation, remains a challenge for the development of novel substances. This article presents the results of recent clinical trials, which evaluated natriuretic peptides, adenosine receptor blockers, vasopressin receptor blockers, relaxin and a new positive inotropic agent - omecamtiv mecarbil. Althrough these drugs lead to clinical improvement, the majority do not affect patient prognosis. |
