Description Mineralogy and chemical composition of tourmaline from hydrothermal altered volcanic rocks in the neighbourhood of Hlásnice village in the southern part of the Šternberk-Horní Benešov Belt were studied. Tourmalines from the Hlásnice 2 borehole correspond to dravite. Tourmalines from the Hlásnice 3 borehole have schorl composition. Tourmalines shoved a significant Na-enrichment at the X-site position which is unique compared to tourmaline associated with hydrothermal ore deposits.
