Cílem tohoto projektu je získávat nové vědecké informace z oblasti biomedicíny, které mají potenciál objasňovat podstatu lidských onemocnění. Na výzkumu se budou podílet všechny vědecké skupiny Biologického ústavu LF MU, které se zaměřují na odlišná výzkumná témata. Důležitou součástí projektu je zapojení doktorských studentů programu Biomedicínské vědy a také pregraduálních studentů Lékařské fakulty, kteří tvoří nedílnou součást výzkumných týmů.
