The course Bi5980 Statistical Evaluation of Biodiversity deals with the specific area of data analysis. The content of the subject is analysis of data of biological communities using unique methods of biodiversity assessment. Teaching the subject requires careful preparation of teaching materials and their regular updating. The goal of the project is to innovate teaching materials and supplement them with new methods, which will be presented not only theoretically, but also practically by demonstrating the solution of case studies.

Results

The results of the project are:

• revised and modified subject syllabi,
• presentations for lectures;
• a textbook presenting the principles and methods of biodiversity data analysis supplemented with examples of solutions of case studies;
• sets of questions for final tests.
