Horizon Europe - Hop On Facility call
The European Commission has launched the Hop On Facility call, which aims to connect institutions from countries less involved in Horizon Europe to existing consortia.
It is possible to apply for extra € 0.2 - 0.5 million in the budget of an already approved project (of which 10% to cover the administrative costs of the coordinator).
To join a consortium, the following conditions must be met:
- the consortium has been established under one of the Horizon Europe Pillar 2 calls (e.g. Health Cluster) or Path Finder Programme,
- the consortium already has a signed grant agreement,
- no institution from the widening countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia) is a member of the consortium.
A continuously updated list of eligible projects is provided here.
The full text of the call can be found here.
Ho On applications will be collected on a continuous basis and will be evaluated after two partial deadlines: 20 April 2022 and 10 November 2022.
We encourage you to contact the consortium coordinator if you have personal contacts or if you can offer a substantial contribution to a given topic, not randomly. This could be counterproductive for the eventual continuation of the funding scheme.
