Dr. Tommy Nai-Jen Chang is a board-certified plastic surgeon currently serving as an associate professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery, Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou Medical Center, Taiwan.
In 2015-2016, Dr. Chang completed a fellowship focusing on peripheral nerve regeneration research at SickKids Hospital, Toronto, Canada under the mentorship of Dr. Gregory Borschel, Dr. Tessa Gordon, and Dr. Ronald Zuker.
Currently, Dr. Chang is working on Professor David Chwei-Chin Chuang's peripheral nerve regeneration team with Dr. Johnny Chuieng-Yi Lu, specializing in reconstruction for adult and pediatric brachial plexus injuries, facial nerve paresis, and reconstruction of upper and lower extremity defects. In recent years, Dr. Chang has been involved not only in motor nerve reconstruction but also in sensory and autonomic nervous system reconstruction. Dr. Chang has pioneered breast sensory neurotization and robotic-assisted thoracic sympathetic reconstruction.
In 2016, Dr. Chang founded the International Microsurgery Club(IMC) on Facebook; the largest online platform focused on microsurgery education to date, with over 20,000 members worldwide.
Dr. Jung-Ju Huang is a board-certified plastic surgeon, currently serving as a professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and director of the Breast Reconstruction Center at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou Medical Center in Taiwan.
She specializes in reconstructive microsurgery, especially breast reconstruction, gynaecological reconstruction and surgical treatment of lymphedema.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Huang is involved in basic and clinical research. The results of her work have been recognized by plastic surgery societies in Taiwan and the USA. Dr Huang was honored as one of the ten excellent young women in Taiwan for 2017 and a rising star in the above fields.
In 2018, she was selected as an International Guest Scholar, the American College of Surgeons in the USA.
