Exhibition of Mushrooms and Autumn Fruits at the Centre for Medicinal Plants of FM MU

The Medicinal Herbs Centre, a specialised botanical garden of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, invites you to an outdoor exhibition of mushrooms and fall crops. Although autumn is no longer as rich in flowers and greenery as spring and summer, walking through the garden is still beautiful and inspiring.

Fruits and edibles grown in the garden, such as loquats, gourds, and yacons, will be displayed in the exhibition area. Visitors can also see a display of dozens of mushroom species. Samples of live fruiting bodies will be labeled with the name of the mushroom and information on edibility.

The exhibition in the Medicinal Herbs Centre of the Faculty of Medicine will be open on Tuesday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Wednesday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Medicinal Herbs Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University is located at Údolní 74, Brno – Kraví hora; stop of lines x4 and 68 Náměstí Míru, stop x4 Heinrichova.

The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Mycological Club Brno and the Moravian Museum.
