5 May 2023
7:00 PM - Czech Brethren Evangelical Church of Jan Amos Komenský, Komenského square, Brno (Red Church)
We would like to invite you to the first benefit concert of the Medical Students' Association of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, which will take place in favour of the construction of a memorial to the body donors at the Central Cemetery in Brno.
The concert will take place on Friday 5 May 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Jan Amos Komenský Evangelical Church on Komenský Square in Brno (Red Church). This evening will be dedicated to an unforgettable experience with one of the best violinists of his generation, Josef Špáček, and his performance with the Collegium Musicum chamber orchestra under the baton of Filip Urban. He will perform Jean Sibelius - Pelléas et Mélisande Op. 46 and Ludwig van Beethoven - Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major Op. 61.
Every year at the Faculty of Medicine MU, we pay tribute to the donors of the bodies by organising a commemorative act during the Souls' Day period, and now we also want to build a dignified place where the bereaved can come to honour the memory of their deceased. Admission to the concert is voluntary and it will also be possible to make a donation directly to 2901871435/2010.
Come celebrate the beauty of classical music with us and help us support this important project! Thank you for your support.
