Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

MU scores well in Shanghai ranking of academic subjects
Shanghai Ranking, a leading ranking company, recently released an international comparison of higher education institutions by subject area. Masaryk University secured a spot in the world’s top 200 in two subjects, and it is currently the top-ranking institution in the Czech Republic in three subjects.

MU ranked twice in TOP 300 in Times Higher Education subject rankings
The Times Higher Education has published another of its international university rankings, THE World University Rankings by Subject. Masaryk University is ranked in ten out of eleven subjects included in the international comparison.
