Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

David Póč appointed new Bursar of Masaryk University
David Póč, an expert in strategic management in the public sector and public projects, has been appointed by Rector Martin Bareš as the new Bursar of Masaryk University with effect from 1 November 2024.

Forty-two thousand strokes across the Channel
Thirteen is a lucky number for Masaryk University student Andrea Klementová. On 13 August, she became only the 13th Czech woman to swim across the English Channel, completing the feat in 13 hours and 58 minutes.

I love working in theatre and intercultural encounters
Professor Pavel Drábek teaches drama and theatre practice, history and theory at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. He translates older English drama, and writes opera librettos and plays for the radio and the theatre. He spends his holidays in the Czech Republic.
