Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

Commemorative event in front of MU Faculty of Arts today
In connection with yesterday’s tragedy, a commemorative event will be held today at 3 pm in front of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University on Arne Nováka Street. The gathering is organised by the Students’ Chamber of the Academic Senate of Masaryk University.

MU and Brno Bishopric to hold Requiem Mass for victims of Prague mass shooting
In connection with the heinous attack that took place on the grounds of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague on Thursday, 21 December 2023, Masaryk University and the Bishopric of Brno have agreed to hold a Requiem Mass for the victims of this tragedy. The Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, 23 December, at 3 p.m. in the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in the centre of Brno.

MU announces charitable collection in connection with attack in Prague
In response to the tragedy at the Faculty of Arts in Prague, Masaryk University has announced a charitable collection. Financial contributions can be made in the form of a donation through the MU Shopping Centre.
