Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

Former students from 25 countries return to Masaryk for international alumni reunion
Last week, the MU Centre for International Cooperation (CZS) held a reunion for international alumni. Dozens of graduates from 25 countries attended a barbecue outside the Vinařská Dormitories.

Rising energy prices won’t affect classes at MU for time being
Masaryk University, like other Czech universities and society as a whole, is facing skyrocketing energy prices. However, there are no plans for transitioning to online learning, and the new academic year will begin on 12 September with standard in-person classes.

MU assistance to Ukraine is effective and continues
Almost five hundred students from Ukraine who were admitted to ten MU faculties through a special admission procedure will start the new academic year. In addition, the University will continue to help Ukraine through a number of other initiatives.
