Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers a preparatory course for students who intend to enter studies of General Medicine or Dentistry. The programme provides excellent preparation for the entrance examination and the first year of our General Medicine / Dentistry degree through a well-balanced blend of modules in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Preparatory Courses
Medical Faculty of Masaryk University offers three E-learning preparatory courses for students who intend to study General Medicine, Dentistry in the English language and Intensive Czech Language Course for students who have already been accepted to study in the academic year. The course should provide an advantage of easier start to the introduction of the Czech language, orientation in grammar and conversational situations in everyday life.

MU starts new academic year with seven vice-rectors
At its 272nd meeting on Monday, 18 September 2023, the Academic Senate of Masaryk University approved two proposals submitted by Rector Martin Bareš regarding the appointment of new vice-rectors and the dismissal and appointment of members of the MU Scientific Board.

Masaryk University opens sports complex at Veslařská
The new multipurpose sports complex at Veslařská street near the Svratka River was presented by Masaryk University at the beginning of week. The renovated sports facilities will be used mainly by students for training purposes.

The Working Group for AI in Teaching, led by Vice-Rector Michal Bulant, has prepared advice and a set of recommendations for using AI tools for academic purposes.

European Sustainable Development Week at MUNI
