What experiences make you a great ambassador?
As a 5th-year student at Masaryk University, I have developed a deep understanding of both academic and social life here in Brno. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to engage with diverse student groups, support peers through collaborative projects, and navigate the unique challenges of university life. These experiences have honed my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, all of which I believe are essential qualities for a great ambassador. Furthermore, my role as a medical student has taught me the importance of empathy and patience, traits that I will use to support and guide new students.
What advice would you give to new students?
My primary advice to new students is to embrace the journey with an open mind.
University life can be both exciting and challenging, so don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed, and take advantage of the resources available to you, from academic support to extracurricular opportunities. Secondly, don’t underestimate the power of good time management. Balancing studies with personal life is key to success. Finally, get involved in the community!
Forming connections with fellow students and participating in university events will enrich your experience and make your time here unforgettable.
What do you love most about Brno?
What I love most about Brno is its unique blend of rich history, vibrant culture, and student-friendly atmosphere. It’s a city that offers the best of both worlds—there’s always something happening, from cultural festivals to social events, but it also provides peaceful spots for studying or relaxing.
The welcoming nature of the community, coupled with the beauty of the city’s architecture and green spaces, makes Brno a truly special place to live and study.
