V4 Warszawa
From 20 February to 22 February 2024, the final meeting of the V4 project partners took place at Lazarski University, where the important cooperation and development of the network of simulation centres was highlighted.
Despite challenges such as the farmers' strike or the individual approach of Polish police officers, the meeting was a success. Previous meetings in Košice, Szeged and Brno served as inspiration for the meeting and the concept of simulation training in Warsaw.
An innovative concept of a standardized patient was introduced at Lazarski University. Participants gained an overview of the communication skills training practiced at Lazarski University. Subsequently, a simulation demonstration was conducted where students presented the communication of a negative message with their own feedback on the course and the concept of teaching.
The programme continued with an introduction of the Simulation Centre in Poznan, led by Marek Dubrowski, and discussions on pressing simulation issues. This professional part was followed by a reward for all participants in the form of a tour of the old city of Warsaw and a gastronomic excursion into the secrets of Polish cuisine. The meeting concluded the project cooperation of all partners and opened the way for further cooperation not only in Europe but also with other simulation centres around the world. A final report will be produced by mid-April 2024.
We are proud that our SIMU was able to participate in the project of mutual inspiration of European simulation centres and can draw new impulses for improvement, innovation and development of teaching and offering a wide portfolio of courses.
We look forward to the next challenges!
