The Teach the Teacher course organized by the European Society of Anaesthesioogy (ESA)
Physician from the Department of Pediatric Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University and University Hospital Brno, and at the same time the Assistant Professor of the SIMU project, MUDr. Martina Kosinová, Ph.D., was selected as this year's representative of the Czech Republic.
The course was designed for young doctors involved in teaching anesthesia in as many countries as possible. This year, 25 physicians participated. The aim of this two-week course, which will continue in the second week of spring 2020, is not only to improve teaching skills but also to unify teaching practices across Europe. The course was conceived very comprehensively, from workshops focused on presentation skills, through body language, creation of teaching aids, learning practical skills, to conducting feedback or creating OSCE. Therefore, modern teaching methods were also included, which will be implemented in the teaching in the SIMU project.
