The SIMU expert team will not idle even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Especially during the current epidemiological crisis, restriction of public movement and contact education at all universities, it is important to maintain as much clinically-oriented instruction as possible, not only undergraduate but also postgraduate.
Ideally, the education should be adapted to epidemiological restrictions in the COVID-19 pandemic. One possibility is to use low-fidelity simulations such as the virtual patient AKUTNĚ.CZ. The educational and publication portal AKUTNĚ.CZ currently offers 110 virtual patients, which are freely available and serve, among other things, for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Enumeration of virtual patients AKUTNĚ.CZ / algorithms, was actually extended the novelty of Resuscitation COVID 19-positive patient. It was created by a team of physicians of portal AKUTNĚ.CZ and SIMU LF MU, MUDr. Martina Kosinova, Ph.D., MUDr. Tereza Prokopová and MUDr. Tamara Skříšovská. Despite the express time, the algorithm was properly reviewed by a member of the European Resuscitation Council - MUDr. Janou Djakow, Ph.D.
