TBL Lesson of the Institute of Pharmacology
On Thursday, 16 March 2023, another team-based learning (TBL) lesson of the Institute of Pharmacology of FM MU and SIMU took place, focusing not only on the professional topic, but also on training lecturers for future lessons of Applied and Clinical Pharmacology or other courses using this method.
Václav Vávra, a 6-year student of General Medicine, took the role of a facilitator this time and summarized his impressions as follows: "Although I feel that I will still need to work on my lecturing skills, this was a valuable experience that has definitely pushed me a lot further."
The topic of the lecture was Applied Pharmacology of Antiepileptic Drugs with an overlap to different clinical situations; Dr Jitka Rychlíčková and Dr Kristýna Nosková from the Institute of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Latvia participated in the preparation of the lecture. To our great joy, the topic again attracted students from almost all years of studies.
Our thanks go not only to all the participants but also to our colleagues from SIMU, who made the lesson run absolutely smoothly.
We are looking forward to the next meeting.
