Generic Instructor Course
The first European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Generic Instructor Course (GIC) held at the Simulation Center, Faculty of Medicine in Brno on the 13th and 14th of October 2024, was an outstanding success.
During the holidays, Masaryk University is to begin the construction of their Simulation Centre (SIMU) for practical training of future physicians, for which the university signed today the contract with the general contractor, Společnost Komplexní simulační centrum (an association of PSJ a.s., IDPS s.r.o., and OHL ŽS a.s.).
The construction, including the laying of a symbolic foundation stone, will be ceremonially commenced on 26 September 2018.
SIMU will become a unique teaching workplace within the Czech Republic in which practical training of students of the MU Faculty of Medicine will take place. This new workplace will enable a wide range of modern educational elements to be included in the teaching of medicine.

In the middle of October, on 15.10.2024, a turnkey simulation course for the Ivančice Hospital was held in the Simulation Centre.
